My uploaded files disappeared

I had the free trial of Dropbox Professional and didn't think we needed so many users and so much space.  My trial ends today and the files uploaded to Dropbox are all gone.  Can I access them?  If I go back to Professional today will they come back?   desperately need these files.

Hey @RonS71 - sorry to hear about your missing files.

If you made sure that you're looking at the correct account, could you have a look at your events page and let me know if you see any signs of them?

This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged, so it should give you a hint.

If any of them were shared, you can have a look at your sharing tab too.

In any case, please keep us posted.

Thank you so much for your reply Walter,  I checked both the Events page and the sharing, and the files are in neither.  I have since re upgraded to Professional, in case that would help out the situation and my files would magically come back, but to no avail.  The files were uploaded by another party who I shared the link with.  any other ideas on how I can get the files back?  I'd hate to go back and ask them to re upload everything.

When is the last time you remember seeing them on the website @RonS71?

Do you happen to have another Dropbox account, associated with a different email address of yours perhaps?

Also, when  you say you shared a link for them to upload the files, are you referring to a file request or a shared link/folder instead?
