My local drive has a Documents folder.  I have a Documents folder in Dropbox.  If I move a file that is located on my local Desktop into the Documents folder in Dropbox should it automatically copy that file to my local Documents folder as well?

Hi @47jimc

No - Dropbox doesnt work like that I'm afraid. Unless you have linked everything together and moved the directories in to Dropbox they wont sync.
