Can't send a doc with signature request as the send button is not available

Hello!  I am attempting my first sending of a doc for signature.

I have it all ready to go...but the send button is not available for use.  Not sure what to do next.

Thanks!

Karla

Hey there @Karla K. - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

If this persists after clearing your browser's cache or using another browser, could you send us a screenshot so that we can have a visual too?

Thanks!

Hi Walter...thanks in advance.  I hope this screen shot is clear for you to view.  I opened Dropbox using Firefox (I was on Chrome).  Still does the same thing.  Three buttons top right...cancel, send and save.  THe send button fades out, cannot use it.

Are you the owner of the file or was it shared  with you @Karla K.?

Also, do you get the same results if you copy the file and try to send the copy for signature?

Have you tried doing it via the signatures page instead of the file itself?

I am not sure that I completely understand what you are asking.  The file is indeed mine that I created and I want to send it for signatures.  I have been attempting to send it via the Signature on Drop Box. Brought it up, entered in who it is to go to, then drag my signature fields and dates.  Then I am just stumped as what to do.  No way to select "go"

So, I did save the file from the Save button in Signature.  I have tried opening that file and adding it into signature if that is what you mean.
