Adding a Team DropBox Invite from Another Person to My DropBox Account

Adding a Team DropBox Invite from Another Person to My DropBox Account

I recently had a colleague invite me to their DropBox Teams. I am reluctant to add the account because I do not want to comingle my account and folders with my colleagues. I don't mind having access to view and download files she shares. But I want my Dropbox files and folders to remain private and inaccessible unless I decide to share. Can someone help me understand what happens If I accept the Team invite from my colleague to join her Team Dropbox?

Thanks,

Dr. Shinshuri

Hi

Basically your account 'becomes' theres - so I wouldn't merge it either. BUT if you click to accept the invite you should get the option to set up and create a new account for the Teams invite which then will also install and work on your computer - so you'd have 2 Dropbox folders 🙂
