thanks for the greater detail (e.g. by "utility monitor" you meant "activity monitor" etc etc.)

such detail is necessary for us Dunder Mifflin employees...

@Megan yes, I have tried everything mentioned here, including Andreas solution. Several times, several restarts - it's not working.

@andreabonato here is the screenshot you requested. It's in Swedish, but I guess you get the picture. The words in grey by Dropbox says "Full access to disc".

@andreabonato It’s late in Sweden now and I don’t have access to my Mac until tomorrow. But I have followed your instructions, Dropbox has full disc access, that box is ticked in Full Access Disc. I don’t have any security program installed. Thanks.
