You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
I love the rewind feature, it has saved me multiple times but it's usability is horrible.
I use dropbox as my working folder for development work, so in a matter of minutes there can be thousands of modified files. If I want to rewind to let's say one hour earlier, this is practically impossible. The only option right now is to scroll though the list of modified files in the rewind side panel, few files at a time, it takes so long to do this that the only option is to rewind to an earlier day. Why can't there simply be an option to select a time to rewind to?
Its incredible how such simple features are not obvious to the drobox user interface developers

I second this. I too use Dropbox to back up my dev work, and the UI in the Rewind menu gets SO bogged down after about 10 clicks of "view more items". When you need to filter through more than 100 entries, it becomes almost impossible to find the correct rewind time, unless you have over an hour to spend clicking a single button.
When rewinding, you should be able to select the date and then a time before beginning the fine-tuning selection. It would be a very simple change on their end and would save so much time. - ViolentVodkaNew member | Level 1
I second this. I use Dropbox to help back up my dev work, and rewinding is more or less useless if your time isn't the first/last activity of the day. The UI gets VERY bogged down after about 10 clicks of "view more items", so unless you have over an hour to spend clicking the same button, it's nearly impossible to find the correct time to jump to.
When starting the rewind, you should first select the date, then a time, and then begin the fine-tuning process. This would be an incredibly useful change, and should be relatively simple..
As it is, rewind is rarely of use for me..
