Hello All!
So I recently found out about the Computer Backup function within Dropbox and as an Enterprise admin I reached out to Dropbox Support to see if there would be a way to force the clients to enable that function once we enable it in the Admin portal. I was told that it wasn't a function that was available. It would be very helpful for Enterprise customers to be able to force the client to enable that function so that we could better utilize our Dropbox to backup Windows profiles in the chance that our end users get their computer refreshed so that they don't have to worry about transferring that data to a new computer. Also, it would help in case of a hardware failure so we don't have to try and pull the data from a hard drive or worry about data loss if the hard drive fails. I'm pretty sure other Enterprise customers would love having this ability so they don't have to worry about sending communications out to their user base to manually go into the client to enable the function.
