How do you organize your photos?
Hey photographers, it’s hard to believe we’re already well into the summer. With brighter and longer days, I’ll probably be getting out and taking photos a little more regularly, which got me wonderi...

2 months agoGraham I'm afraid the Dropbox.com Photo experience is broken, unusable for larger Photo collections.
I've been working with Dropbox Engineering (Ticket #24144018) and they are aware of the indexing issues affecting your platform.
I've included below the last two replies but please have a look at the support conversation and the video captures showing the poor performance of Dropbox photos... Disappointing!

The engineers have informed me that a resolution for the indexing issue may come at a later date. However, they don't have an exact timeline to provide at this moment.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Hi Maddison .... Thanks for the reply .... However, it's the indexing that seems to be the problem. I understand that Dropbox would need to index the photos once, but Dropbox will re-index the same photos from the beginning again and again if the browser is shut down and then reopened. Waiting for >13K of Photos to re-index every time the browser is opened makes the Dropbox photo experience unusable ... As shown from the captures your competitors' products don't suffer the same issues.
