Adding new files or folders in my device, and how they sync with Dropbox.
I hope someone can help me with this. If I add new files or folders on my PC do they automatically get added to the corresponding folder on DropBox?
Many Thanks,

Hi MamaWolf
Not quite sure what you mean.... so, if I miss this please ask more!
However, they will sync to Dropbox's cloud only if you add them to the \Dropbox folder on your machine. If you put them on say Desktop and had a copy in \Dropbox there is no link between those 2 files so you'd end up with 2 different versions - one you updated and one (I assume) in Dropbox.

Hi Peggy MamaWolf, welcome to the Community 😊.
Mark I hope you don’t mind me jumping in here.
If you add new files or folders on your PC, they won’t automatically get added to Dropbox unless you put them in your Dropbox folder.
Once there, they’ll sync across all your devices. Files outside that folder stay on your PC only, so just drag them in if you want them backed up!
