Hi Everybody,
Thanks for your input here. I will clarify for users who are not part of the Collections beta.
Collections is a beta that allows users to compile boards of documents, files, photos, etc. Laetitia Keyrouz if you are part of the beta, you would see it on the navigation bar on the left hand side of your Dropbox when you log in, as in the image below.
Marisa D.1 This will not affect the ability to place Dropbox in your favorites bar.
kenmagyar Making the decision to sunset collections was a difficult one. We had to take quite a few internal and external factors into consideration. There are no current plans to reinstate collections.

This is incredibly disappointing. Being able to create a collection of videos without moving or duplicating the original video has been incredibly valuable. This feature has become standardized in our procedures, and we may have to change providers if we lose this option. Please let me know what you'll be implementing to replace this feature, or how we can continue to use collections, whether its a paid add on, or we are grandfathered into it as Beta users.
