Can I update my Dropbox email address, when I don't have access to the old one?

Today I got into my old Dropbox account after DropBox allowed it and told me to update my email account.  The DropBox account has files I want to keep backed up so I signed up for now on the monthly ...

Simply put dcschultz75 you cannot. 

 

All you can do is download the files, or share it to a new account.
