Exclude files by pattern from being removed locally by the file handler

Hi,

I'm using the Zettlr "project" feature a lot. Project configuration is stored in ".ztr-directory" files, who need to stay available on the local file system. Thus I want to exclude them by pattern from being removed locally once and for all. 

Chat support right now stated that it can't be done.

But excluding files by pattern, instead of browsing with finder through the filesystem and doing it by hand for every single one, is such a basic functionality, I just can't believe that it can't be done.

Any suggestions?
