If I have camera uploads enabled, and then delete my Google Photos, will the Dropbox uploads remain?

If I have automatic camera uploads syncing with dropbox and delete all my google photos, will my dropbox camera uploads remain?

Hi rtgebm, thanks for posting today!

As these are separate systems on your device, nothing already uploaded to the Dropbox site would be affected by deleting photos from your phone or from Google Photos.

If you do notice any deletions on your Dropbox account, you can always recover them from within your recovery period on this page.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

Hey rtgebm , I am glad to see that Jay has resolved your query about the backup of your photos. If you ever want to refresh your memory about camera uploads to Dropbox click here.

By the way, I’d love to hear more about how you use Dropbox, that's if you are open for sharing. I’m always curious about different workflows and would love to pick up any tips that might be helpful for you or our internal teams.

    Thanks,

    😸 (Dropbox Community Manager)
