Thanks for the nudge on this merminy
Could you have a look at the desktop app's preferences under the Sync tab to check your Dropbox folder's location?

Hey merminy, I'd be happy to help!
Just to check if the app is running, could you check its syncing status?
Also, when you open your Finder/Filer Explorer, can you see your Dropbox folder under your Favorites, or it's not visible there either?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

yes, i do see my dropbox folder in the finder...i usually move the dropbox folder up and have it in second place bellow the desktop folder
but the problem is not there...on a daily basis i use "adobe bridge" and it is there that since dropbox updated its location in my laptop
i can not find it in my adobe bridge folders...!!!- Walter3 years agoDropbox Staff
Hey merminy, sorry to jump in here, but could you send us a screenshot of how this looks on your end?
Also, you haven't clarified, is the desktop app running normally on your machine?
If so, what's its exact status and version as shown in your menu bar?

thank you for your reply walter...
is the desktop app running normally on your machine? yes
what's its exact status and version as shown in your menu bar? beta (see attached)
but my problem is not in my finder... as I said before the problem is in adobe bridge
there are two tabs... "favorites" and "folders"
and I have always had access to my dropbox both in "favorites" and "folders"
but since this "beta" version I co not have access to my dropbox in adobe bridge

None of the above. Drobpox force-moved its on-Mac folder to 'LOCATIONS' (along with all other mountable drives and virtual spaces) so it really isn't reachable in the Finder except for directly by opening the DB folder from the Finder sidebar.
RESULT: Adobe Bridge is now USELESS as far as accessing files in the Dropbox folder.
