Won't Start on Mac - connection issue
Dropbox suddenly won't connect on my Mac (running the latest iOS).
I get an error message saying it's a connection issue. "Couldn't start Dropbox. This is usually because of a permissions error. Storing your home folder on a network share can also cause an error."
I've tried every solution I've seen. Dropbox has Full Disk Access as well as Files and Folders access. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing is working.
Here is the error code it gives me:

I'm having the same problem on Mac OS Monterey 12.6.3
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hi rottenchaggis, happy first of the month!
In regards to the app not allowing you to connect properly, can you please clarify if you have any type of antivirus or firewall on your device that could be preventing the Dropbox app from connecting to our servers?
Also, did you have any updates recently on your device that could have affected this? When did you start noticing this issue approximately?
Let me know, and we’ll take it from there.

Hey Megan
no antivirus. Firewall turned off.
Tried 2 different wifi networks with different ISP's
Tried chatting with the support team and sending the the error log. They were helpful but didn't get it fixed
I noticed the problem last night when a file didn't come from my PC across to my mac. Noticed there was an update for dropbox app on my mac and figured that was the problem. Did the update and dropbox stopped working altogether on my mac
