Hi Jay,
Perhaps I should have mentioned that I am on the Basic Plan (connecting to max 3 devices), and I simply used the "dropbox_2024.04.17_amd64.deb" file linked on the Dropbox website. I hope this situation doesn't end Dropbox support for me.
Ubuntu 24.04 was released a week after your last Linux installation file, and as a former ISTQB tester I know that software regression hiccups are not uncommon. Seeing the date of the install file as well as those of the CLI versions I do get the nagging feeling that Linux OS development isn't too high on the Dropbox Team to-do list.
So, as a Basic Dropbox user on Ubuntu Linux 24.04.1, what are my options?

Since you're already using 3 devices, and it sounds like your current device is already connected to your account, you should be able to perform the advanced reinstallation steps, since you won't go over the device limit.
