Slow sync on Mac M1
Hi, Switched to a MacBook with the M1 (Big Sur 11.4, Dropbox V126.4.4618). I am experiencing extremely slow sync rates. I've tried: - Rebooting the machine - Rebooting the router - un/reins...

Ugh, I think this one's on me... at work we call it PEBCAK (problem exists between chair and keyboard). Well, partially on me. Dropbox is not without at least a small amount of blame, lol.
I was indeed telling the truth when I said I wasn't using any backups (I've since removed myself from one shared folder, so no longer over):But I was incorrect when I said I had 6gigs. Apparently, I've only ever had 5.75:
Thing is, the only reason I ever thought I had 6 is because that's what Dropbox told me 10 years ago, and I've been none the wiser for a decade...
Alas, if they can round, why can't I? 😅

I am just reaching out to ask if the app's status remains in the same state you mentioned in your previous reply.
Let me know.

I'm having a similar problem. I reset the hard links and permissions but ... it is still going very slowly. Any other ideas what to try here? I have been using the Dropbox app on my desktop M1 Mac and have not had this problem until yesterday.
Thank you for your help!
