Dropbox macOS desktop never stops "connecting components" after upgrading to FP

24 hours ago, I updated my Dropbox to new "file provider" on macos. For the last 24 hours, everything is stuck on "connecting components".

After a while, files appears in Dropbox folder with a greyed "cloud" icon.

I can't open any of them. I get this message (in french, which is my OS language): "impossible de communiquer avec un utilitaire" which means Couldn’t communicate with a helper application.

No dropbox options appear when right clicking any file inside the dropbox folder.

MacOs Sonoma 14.5

Dropbox desktop app. 199.4.6287

Hi ahamel, I’m sorry you’re having this issue.

Can you send me a few screenshots of what you see in your local Dropbox folder, when accessing your files, as well as one more screenshot of the syncing status you see when clicking on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?

Let me know when you’re ready.

      Too late Nancy.

Il quit Dropbox app. from top menu. Then I completely uninstalled dropbox.app, and deleted dropbox folders (the one on the side bar and the one in library).

After a restart, I reinstalled dropbox desktop app, , reconnect to my dropbox account and followed instructions to get my files from the cloud.

Everything works fine as previously before updating.

Let's say I will not try another time updating to dropbox file provider.

      Regards.
