No free space after deleting files

I have deleted permanently the files and deleted cache from my computer but still I have no space available. All I get is a prompt to buy more space, including any help and troubleshooting link. Anyb...

    Hi Robert and Jim,

     

    If your accounts are over quota even after deleting files, there must still be files left in your accounts. If you delete everything in your account at www.dropbox.com/home, your quota usage will be 0, and you will no longer be above quota.

     

    You may be interested in increasing your storage quota. There's a range of different ways to do this:
