Why do files on my mobile app not match those on the desktop machine?
Half the time when I edit a file, then save it on my desktop machine, it doesn't sync to my tablet or phone. I get a version of the file that is 8 hours old, or sometimes older.
This is a serious drawback...a major flaw IMHO...for a system that purports to share files.
There should be a prominent button in the tablet or phone Dropbox application that forces a sync to the latest version of a file. Why is this functionality missing?
Thank you.

Hi erath, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As the mobile app doesn't directly 'sync' to the Dropbox site, since it is primarily a viewer to the account, the files should still reflect what appears on the site, after the files synced there from the Dropbox desktop application.
Is this occurring for all files you're attempting to view, or only certain types of files?
This will help me to assist further!
