The "Copy Dropbox link" option is missing on Finder and new files are no longer syncing.

I have created a new file for a client who shared his folder and the file did not come through. I checked on my mobile app and the files aren't in there. I also checked on my web browser and the new files do not appear there either. I noticed that when i right-click on any file in my Dropbox in Finder, whether folder of file, the "Copy Dropbox Link" from the drop down menu is missing. I relaunched Finder and also rebooted my MAC and this has not worked.
This is new as I worked on a bunch of files the previous night and it all synced and worked perfectly.
Can someone please help me.

    Hi DD77! Thanks for posting on our forum today. 

     

    To make sure I got this right, you created this file inside your client’s shared folder and it doesn’t appear on any of your linked devices/web account. Correct?

     

    As for the "Copy Dropbox Link” function you’re missing, do you see any other Dropbox options when right-clicking on your files? Or are they all missing now from your Dropbox folder? 

     

    Finally, I’d like you check your menu bar and make sure the small Dropbox icon is still there. If it is, I’d like to know the syncing status and app version that the desktop app reports. 

     

    Keep me in the loop for more info.

      Same: Bropbox contextual menus have been missing (again) for days. misery.

    Hey julies, sorry to hear about this.

     

    Could you please let mus know your device's exact OS version and the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app installed there as well?

     

    If you could also send us a screenshot of the options you get when you right click on files in your Dropbox folder, I'd appreciate it.
