How to keep original file names and relative paths?

Files uploaded from my phone are given a datestamp filename. I want to keep the original names and, (if possible) relative path. If the file is /Camera/fubar.jpg on my phone, it would be useful for it to be "Camera Uploads/Camera/fubar.jpg" in Dropbox. Everything renamed and dumped in the same directory is NOT useful to me.

That's not possible. If you're using the Camera Uploads feature, all files uploaded will be renamed and placed in the Camera Uploads folder.
