Hi,
I need to do this too, I've tried your method, clicked replace, a document is uploaded, but the document does not seem to replace the existing one at all?
In the left hand column and on the main right edit screenI still see the thumbnail of the existing document.
Below it in red, there is the title of the replacement with and X on the left in a circle and a delete trash can on the right.
Clicking on the newly added document name does nothing.
Also once this new document is added, the blue Next button on the right becomes disabled.
The exact same thing happens if I press the +Add Document button at the bottom of the column.
Thanks
Ian

Hey IanSE, are you getting the same behavior on other browsers or private browsing/incognito windows as well?

Hi Hannah
Thanks for your suggestions. I tried replicating this on Chrome and Safari on my Mac, and then Safari on my iPad. Also tried it in Standard and Private Browsing. All tests returned the same error as I mentioned before.
Then I tried creating a new template. Both the Replace and New document buttons worked correctly, but only while the template was unsaved. Once I saved the template and then went back into edit it, it stops working and I get the same issue - with document title listed in red with no preview. I've included a pic of this below.

Thanks Jay, I did that and got an answer.
If I am signed into dropbox.com, click on signatures and edit template then it does not let me replace document or add another document.
However, if instead I sign into hellosign.com, select Dropbox Sign and use the Sign in with Dropbox button - the replace feature works fine as it is intended to.
Thanks
Ian
