copied link from 'copy dropbox link - menu' doesn't paste anymore.
when i right click a file. a dropbox pulldown menu opens.
after clicking 'copy dropbox link' i should be able to share the link after pasting it.
but, it stays empty.
i work with a mac an tried the following:
- close / open dropbox application
- close / open finder
- rebooted mac
> everything seems to display fine after reboot. but when i copy the link, it doesn't paste. (the option to paste appears though weirdly enough)
> when i try to copy / paste via my browser, it still works like it used to.
can somebody please help me out with this? it used to work fine for years until an hour ago.
thanks a lot!

Hey NOCU, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please let me know if this happens with a specific file or if it's affecting all of the files you've stored in your Dropbox folder?
What's the desktop app's status and version as shown in your menu bar?
Any additional information is more than welcome!

Thanks for the additional information NOCU - much appreciated!
It seems that you're running a beta version of the desktop app.
If it's not too much of a hassle could you try installing the latest, stable version from this page and let us know if this persists?
Just make sure to toggle off the 'early releases' from your account's settings online first.
You can also let us know your ticket's ID in order to look it up in our system.
