Hey GZ5 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
You should be able to see the 'Set naming convention' option when you click on the gear icon after you've selected the folder at hand (in the Organize sub-menu)- it sounds like you're clicking on the ellipsis button instead.
Could you give this a go and let me know of any updates?

Is there an option to set a default name for my files that will include the date when the files were created, without adding the word "photo/video" before the date?
For exemple: Jan 23, 2024Right now the default is Photo Jan 23, 2024 / Video Jan 23, 2024

Hey Jay Thanks for replying.
Please see my attached screenshots.
Those are the options I choose but when new files are added the format appears like this:
In addition, the date is wrong, since this photo was captured on Jan 24, 2024, but it was uploaded today, Jan 25, 2024.
I would love to get your advice.
