I have been using dropbox for years. I use it on desktop, laptop and mobile. All with the same login. If I were to send you a link of a file, if I can find one, will you be able to pull from what account it came from?

Hi from me as well, docvino1.
Can you clarify what type of plan your previous Dropbox account was on at the time this happened? Was it on a personal plan, or part of a Business team instead?
You also mentioned above that you were paying for a monthly subscription. Was your Dropbox account upgraded directly via www.dropbox.com, or iTunes/Google Play?
I’d like to gather as much info as possible to pinpoint what may have happened.

Hey docvino1, appreciate the additional info.
You mentioned both your personal account and a Dropbox Business team.
Is it possible that you joined this Business team WITH your personal account?
If your personal account had become a member of the team and the team admin deleted you from the team, your account would have been deleted as well, causing you to be prompted to create a new one with that address.
If that's the case, I would suggest reaching out to the admin, to ask them if they transferred your files to another member's account when they deleted you; perhaps they can still be accessed that way.

Can I please get a phone number from someone in support. It is my account. it has been my account since day one. There are no others. I need to talk to someone. All of my files were lost. I need them back.
