Thanks for posting on our forum about this, ambern1023!
Can you send me a few more details on how you’d like to organize your files/folders exactly? This may be better in order to explain how to use these Dropbox features.
Let me know when you have more details.

I need a folder for each customer folder then subfolders of the various job #s, an admin access only folder, and some other sub folders that anyone in the work group can access.
we have a lot of files that are unorganized currently and not so simplified and not named the same so its hard to find the documents sometimes.
i would like to clean up the old folders and make a standard way of saving docs going forward with would be cleaner and less cluttered and easier to search for certain documents. I wanted to learn more about how tags work, how do you search for something you tagged, automations for organizing and auto sorting files etcany ideas for a better flow / more organized would be very helpful

Hey ambern1023!
You can add tags to both files and folders, however, this feature is only available on our website; tags won't appear on the mobile or desktop apps.
When the same tag is added to several files/folders, you can search the tag through the search bar at the top of your All files page and the search will bring up all the files/folders with that tag.
Regarding automations, the feature is also only available on dropbox.com and the options you have with this feature are for files added to a folder to be saved as PDFs, to be watermarked, unzipped, tagged, saved as images, saved as videos, and sorted based on category.
I suggest you go through our help center articles for both tags and automations for more info, but if you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask!
