Good suggestion but, if the files show zero bytes (no data), what would downloading them back to Dropbox do?

None of the missing files are in events or deleted files.
They somehow disappeared in the move. All of the files made it to the target drive on the Macbook but there is NO data.

Is there anything at all listed on Events? Are you sure you're signed in to the correct account?
