All my files in my Dropbox folder are gone. What can I do?
All my files in my dropbox folder are gone.
Have no idea what I did.
Dropbox chat support is not working.
I tried the goback but that is not working.
How do I get my files back?

Hey tford, sorry to hear about your missing files.
Can you please have a look at your events page and let me know what you find? This is the place where all uploads, edits, and deletions are normally logged so it should give you a hint.
Also, what about your deleted files page?

I uploaded some files to Dropbox. All other folders and files were deleted.
How can I fix this? I do not want them deleted.

Hi tford, glad to see you were able to get your files back!
Although we don't have account access on our end, in order to confirm if the content has been restored, please have a look on your end, and let us know if you're missing any files.
As for the reason this happened, this could be triggered by many things, such as the content being part of a shared folder, and a member deleting content from there. Or if you accidentally move files outside your Dropbox folder.
Could that be the case?

Unfortunately I haven't connect myself to dropbox for some weeks.
I can't find all the documents I had the opportunity to sign and have signed with the new interface.
I can't find neither my template.

Are you sure you're signed in to the correct account? If you last signed in weeks ago and then signed in today with the same account, you would still see all of your files. If you last signed in more than a year ago, then your account would have been deleted due to inactivity, and you're now signed in to a new, empty account.
What do you mean by "new interface?" Nothing has changed in the way you sign in to Dropbox.

Hi everyone!
I have huge problem. I will briefly describe you situation.
We had a Business plan (which was payed monthly). When we wanted to add next computer to Dropbox, we logged out, then logged in and everything on the web dissapeared... Plan was reduced to Basic plan, so we can't use the support for Business. Every folder, file and invoice wanished from web... Is anybody here who has such a problem like we do?

You likely signed in to a different, empty account. Verify that the email address you used to sign in is the email address that you used for your Business account.

Thanks a lot! We suspected that this is the reason why we don't see anything. We check invoice from our accounant and email address was wrong.

Exactly the same happened to me during the last few days. Nothing to find in deleted files. After this I can't trust on Dropbox

Are they only missing from your local Dropbox folder or from your account online as well?
If you take a look in your events page or your deleted files page, are you able to locate them?

I had this account since my student years. I had thousand of documents, photos and personal songs saved. I login today and account is completly empty. There are no words to describe what I am feeling at this moment. I need help and explanation what to do.

When was the last time you logged in to this account?
And when you tried to login, did the site simply allow you to login, or did it prompt you to create a new account with that address?
Lastly, do you perhaps see anything related to your files in your deleted files page or your events page?

I logged in at least a few times a year to this account. And I wasnt asked to create a new account
"Deleted files page" :
No deleted files found. Try adjusting your filters"Events Page" :You have no activity.It seems like a brand new account, i had 48GB's of life moments saved here!!The account is completly empty. Not a single file or folder !!! Please this needs to be checked by IT department!!!
