Accidentally moved a shared folder to another shared folder, how do I move it back?
Hi
Somehow I did a drag and drop of one shared folder into a private folder.
How would I remove it ?

Thank you for your post Hannah.
Yes I found the info and tried but it didn't work the way I expected. I ended up creating a new folder and moving the original out of my personal folder and into the new folder, so now it is a sub-folder but appears to still be shared which is what I needed.
It would be ideal to restore the original folder on it's own instead of being a sub-folder, but hopefully this will work.

So is it possible to just move it out of the new folder and have it be it's own folder again?

Hi from me too, Kulakat1! You can do this with the same steps Hannah linked above.
If you want to move this folder to your root Dropbox folder, then upon selecting the end location, please click on "Dropbox".
In case you're having any trouble along the way, feel free to send me a screenshot of what you see.

Thank for all the help! I really appreciate that you guys take the time to help 🙂
I left it alone because I got busy, and then it hit me that I could access the folders in my Windows file explorer so I just went there and moved it!
