Transfer files from Dropbox to one Drive
How do I transfer all the files in Dropbox to one Drive.
Also, I want to know my storage amount in dropbox so that I can determine the correct amount service level for One Drive.

Download your files and then upload them to OneDrive, or use a third-party service such as movebot.io.

You can find that information on your Plan page.

HI Rich,
Thanks so much.
Do I just click download, then when complete, I upload to One Drive? HOw long does the donwlad, then the upload generally take?
Is it that easy, what is the advantage of movebot. Also, is it free or is there a service charge?
Sorry to follow up with mundane questions at this late hour, but important to me.

No one can answer that. It depends on the size of your files, your Internet speed, etc. There are too many variable for anyone to even guess at that.
Is it that easy, what is the advantage of movebot. If you have a lot of files, it does the transfer for you.
Also, is it free or is there a service charge? You'd have to ask them or check their site.

When I tried to download photos from Dropbox to my computer there were some files missing (say 50 our of 1,500). Any sense of why? Ideally I am just moving them to One Drive to free up space in Dropbox as Mary Beth wrote.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi there NiceGuy33 - sorry to jump in here, but can you let us know if you downloaded your files in batches or in one go? Were they all inside a folder?
Have you tried downloading the ones that weren't downloaded in the first place? '
Any additional information is more than welcome, Jeff.
