The recipient of my file can't open it on her phone, after downloading it

Is the video in a format that her phone understands? Does she have an appropriate app on the phone to play it? Without details of the error she's receiving it would be difficult to guess what the problem is. Is there a screenshot showing the error? Has she tried viewing it on a computer?
