What's the maximum size you can download from Dropbox?
Can someone advise the max file size for downloading from DropBox Office? i.e. the paid version?
- 6 years agoHey there (Longreef), I’ll try to address your inquiry as much as I can, though please do let me know if I’m misunderstanding your request in any way.You may keep in mind that you can download the contents of an entire Dropbox folder via dropbox.com, as long as both of the following are true:
- The folder is less than 20 GB in total size
- The folder has fewer than 10,000 total files
From there, can you let me know what you’d like to ultimately achieve, in order to follow-up with you a bit more closely? Do you wish to download the files you’re creating/ modifying through the Dropbox Office Online integration by any chance? Thanks in advance for talking the time to let me know of the specifics in regards to your initial question & I’m looking forward to hearing back from you on this discussion!

Note that the above limitations only apply to a folder that is downloaded from the Dropbox website. When downloading files, there is no limit to their size. If you're having others download files through a share link you've sent, there are daily traffic limits which could affect downloads from your account.

Yes, if you download a file from the website.
Specifically, my individual file (not a folder) is 26.44GB large but the download stops once it reaches 20GB, resulting in a corrupt file on the computer.

I am trying to download a large number of pictures from my photo album using a paid version of dropbox. The download automatically zipped the files and downloaded. Unfortunately, it only downloads 23 of the selected picture files for a total of 99.9mb. This seems contrary to everything I have read.

Hey there dab5400; thanks for joining the discussion here.
Can you please try clearing your browser's cache and/or another browser to see if that helps improve matters?
Thanks!
