Dropbox StaffHey MysticLenz, where are you trying to download the images to? Your device or do you want to save them to Dropbox?
If the latter, saving them to your device first, would be the best option here.
Once they're saved to the device, you can upload them to your Dropbox.
Doesn't the link allow for them to be downloaded?
I want to save them to my device. But figuring out how to use Dropbox to achieve this, is becoming confusing.

In that case, I don't think Dropbox can help with this, MysticLenz.
You might want to reach out to WhatsApp for support and ask them how you can download the files from the link.
- In the case of reaching out to Whatsapp Support, I've done that, but to no avail.
