Pffffftt like that was going to do anything!
Go into your drobox folder in file explorer and select the VIEW menu, if you have no menu press the ALT key to bring it up.
View > options > change folder and search options > view tab > advanced settings > hidden files and folders > Don't show hidden files, folders or drives. > ok
You might want to also do the APPLY TO FOLDERS button to push that out to all folders.

Hi Lusil thanks, I've just tried to reboot but no changes. I've not been given any update prompts either.

Thanks for your swift reply, ar12.
Have you also tried a simple reinstall of the desktop app? You can do so by following these steps:
- Make sure that you save and quit all apps that access files in the Dropbox folder.
- Stop the Dropbox desktop app from running by clicking on the Dropbox icon next to your computer's clock, selecting your avatar, and choosing Quit Dropbox.
- Uninstall Dropbox.
- Reboot your computer to make sure the uninstall is complete.
- Download and install the newest version of the desktop app.
Let me know how it goes!
PS. Please note that if you're on a Basic (free) account, there's a three device limit and you'll have to make sure that you've got less than three devices connected to proceed.

That doesn't matter. The Show hidden files, folders and drives option is system wide; not folder specific.
