1. Not actually. Web access is enough.
2. No, definitely.
3. Not exactly! You need to share a specially prepared link to actual file or folder, not just some link. For more info take a look here.
4. Could be, If desired. Usually not needed.
5. Personal account is private. Share things are only those explicitly denoted by you.
