Hi
thanks for reply. Not sure I fully understand all this. Both the pro files and txt files open in Dropbox on my laptop without any problems. Is this an issue with my android tablet?

Sorry to jump in here, Chris I.5.
What do you see when you try to open the pro files through the Dropbox app on your Android tablet? Are you getting some kind of error message?

Hi
thanks for reply. I get a message saying pro files can’t be previewed and that I need to download an app that supports this kind of file

Hi Chris I.5, that means you don't have the right software in order to view them.
You wouldn't be able to preview them directly from Dropbox.
Depending on the files that you need to preview, you need to have the right program on your mobile. There are multiple, and different apps, that will allow you to preview .txt files.
Can you try to download one of them, and then open them again?

Hi
Thanks for reply. It’s not the txt files, it’s the pro files that won’t open on tablet but they do on my laptop
Thanks
