Deleted Files on pc
I have had dropbox for a while and mainly use it to transfer pictures and such to and from devices, However, when I updated dropbox on my computer there was an option to sync files. Not really paying...

Restored most of the deleted files from dropbox's deleted folder online. No option for that on the app. Still highly recommend an option to maybe NOT delete everything from your computer just so there a reason to fill up the Dropbox online storage forcing people to pay for the larger size. Instead maybe, just maybe, add an easily accessible option to not do that. Thanks

Hi Farion, sorry to hear about that!
You mentioned you contacted our Support team, right? Do you have a ticket number that I can check on my end?
Let me know!

Are you able to navigate to the files via the events page and then download them to your computer?
- Akerke Maulenbay3 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Unable to download all the required files. Those marked "you have added a file" are downloadable, but those marked "you have deleted a file" are not available for download. At the very end of the events, there are entries: Your PC is now associated with an account, you have added a PC folder, a Desktop folder, and 2 more, you have added files (4754). Next, "Event Details" opens. In this window, I found all the folders that were previously on my desktop. These are the files I need. But they open further - it comes out red "the file does not exist."

Hi Akerke Maulenbay!
If you click on the blue hyperlink, do you see the option to restore the content?
How many days ago did the deletion take place?
- Jay3 years agoDropbox Staff
Just for clarification, if you try to recover some of the files, do you get any specific error message?
- Akerke Maulenbay3 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Yes, it says files do not exist. Also, they are visible but I cannot click on them

Could you attach a screenshot showing what you mean by 'they are visible but I cannot click on them'?
