Hi,
Recently I stopped being able to join shared folders and when I share I folder myself I get this error: "Can't share file. We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement.". I've been using this Dropbox account rightfully for about 15 years, is there any way I can fix this problem?
Thank you.
Hi @Megan, thanks for your response. I really don't know. It's a personal dropbox account that I've had for a very long time. I've looked at my shared folders, files and links, and the last time I actively shared a link was in 2021 it appears. There's nothing too large on there and there are not even many files. So I really don't know.
Is there no way for you to check what the issue might be from your end?
Thanks,
Daniel.
Hi @Megan, I am unable to find any links I might have shared that was downloaded too many times. This is an old dropbox personal account and the last time I actively shared a file was in 2021. I just tried to copy a link and save it for reference today, before I realised that I could not do it. Can you please check for the issue from your side?
Thanks,
Daniel.

What this is all about @Megan? Ive shared countless files' types (photos, pdfs, docx, possibly other also) and NEVER had my share stopped/interrupted. Unless I unshare specific file(s) of course.

Yes Jay, you can reach out to the email associated with my forum profile. It is strange this is now a common issue with many users it seems. I'll look out for your email. Thanks,

@Hannahnothing serious 🙂 just small eyelid correction. They had to lower it a bit. After 2 hours I in hospital I was discharged and am currently recovering at home. You cannot even call it proper surgery: 15 minutes and it was over 🙂 I have been awake but didnt feel any pain.
It was planned thing.
