Lost files

Lost files

Hello

I think I have lost all the contents of what I thought was my personal Dropbox Account, which I originally had set up before I was then added to a company Business subscription. The company has now closed their subscription and I received notice of this, when I went to log on again to check everything has gone except for one file of photos.

To start with how do I check that I am logging into the same account?

Many thanks

Hi @Kerry2024

When the company closed the subscription did they move your account to a free one again, or, did they close it? When you got the notification, did you move the files out or do anything with it?

As you were in a Business account they owned all of the files and data and so its up to them what happens to it when it closed.

You can check the info at www.dropbox.com/events to see actions on your account which is usually best place.
